Are you kidding me? 70 and you shoot 1 over on the par 5's. You're so going to have to give me strokes!! - Aug 9th, 2011 |

Doubtful, I like to win. Arizona isn't exactly the spot for winning. I need to move to some dump where there are only people with actual handicaps, I might win a special olympic event if the field is weak! - May 27th, 2011 |

Are you going to start playing in some amatuer events? I played in the Phoenix City event and it was pretty sweet. I hear you about establishing your handicap at Western Skies. Despite how low the rating and slopes are, you're handicap still ends up better than it should be. Although there are two sides to that argument. If you play at a place with a high slope and rating and you have a few good rounds you end up with too low a handicap too. At least for me that's true because I seem to shoot the same score no matter which tees or courses I play. - May 26th, 2011 |

I needed something easy today to warm up for tomorrow. We're playing Red Mountain Ranch so I'm sure to go large at that Pete Dye desert dump, a little slope of 144.
Western Skies has memberships now of $149 all a brother can play. I just hate to establish a handicap at a place like that because every time you venture to another course you are in for a rude awakening!

That's why I was so good there. I couldn't hit a fairway back then to save my life. So that place played right to my strength. I played in the men's club there and it was pretty fun, not sure if that's your cup of tea or not.
Nice round at Ocotillo. 74 means you avoided the water, at least for the most part. I sure liked that course because it wasn't a desert DUMP! - May 25th, 2011 |
