Course View

This is boasted as being one of the oldest golf courses in Arizona. After engaging in your first round on the property, you may agree that it plays as though it were it the oldest! There are truly some beautiful spots and moments here, and the place has the potential to be a very nice course (and indeed there are signs that at one point it may have been). Granted, this description (and review) is being typed during the latter part of the summer, a time when many clubs in the area are low on business, conditions are harsh, and managers are making cut-backs until the winter rush arrives. However, this is no excuse for the lack of maintenance on the pitch and the condition of the grass overall, as well as the sand traps and tee-boxes in particular. The layout is a typical parkland-style course. It plays at about average length from the white tees but presents a much more significant challenge from the blues. Water does not play a huge factor here, but it is featured on a number of holes.
