Forest Park Golf Course is located in Woodhaven, Queens. It is just off the Jackie Robinson Parkway. Originally designed by Tom Bendelo in 1896, it was redesigned by Stephen Kay in 1995. In addition to approximately two million dollars of course renovations, a completely new clubhouse was also built. The renovation included a significant lengthening of the course; it now plays at over 6,000 yards. This course, with its tree-lined fairways, elevated greens, and three water holes is a favorite of many NYC golfers.

0/10 - I actually made a mistake on the first review. I didn't mention that tee boxes are NOT trimmed at all when they do have grass. and the staff is RUDE BEYOND BELIEF. NEVER WILL PLAY THERE AGAIN. Will advise everyone to skip it. its better to take a day off than play at this course

2/10 - Beautiful course with big, big problems. Course design is very nice, hilly, tight fairways, which require a lot of shots to lay up rather than going for it. However it is all ruined by some facts which kill the pleasure of playing golf. 1. very limited parking. 2. Ridiculous wait at the 1st tee and throughout the course, which makes it almost impossible to get into the rhythm. 3. I guess the groundskeeper never heard that greens are called greens cause of the grass. Grass was barely there on some of them and was colored in. some of the tee boxes also lacked grass (mostly par 3s).
