Golf in the forest, high elevation and very tight. Course features long and beautiful fairways surrounded by native brush, ponds, deep rough and flowers. This one boasts a six-hundred yard par five and greens that run between 11-12 after a good soaking from the clouds. Looks deceptively simple then unfolds into craziness after the first five holes. Lots of houses and other buildings border the course, I hope they keep an eye out and have lots of insurance (at least when I come to play). You have to drive a ways to get to the hidden driving range on a put-put gas cart, but once you locate the area you will be well rewarded with a Bagger-Vance style practice range in the middle of the pines with elevated target greens and plenty of soft grass to hit from. Clutch.

6/10 - Just an OK course. Short, many tight holes on back 9 with trees and houses. Some interesting holes, others not great including several blind shots. Fairways thin on grass and hard in some places. Greens roll well but are firm, many with tricky slopes, and do not hold incoming shots. Cool weather, nice people, price is right, overall worth it to play here.
