| Player Notes: | First round at the course - via GolfNow. 2:25 pm tee time. Hit a poor drive on hole 1, but hit a 5-iron from 175 to 8 feet and dropped the putt in the low side. Struck the ball poorly the rest of the front-9 (43), but somehow salvaged a couple of pars on 7/8. Three straight bogies to start the back-9. Drove the ball great on holes 12-16, but failed to capitalize on a couple of occasions. Hit a 9-iron to 20 feet on #17 and drained the birdie putt. Overall, an iffy round, but the 2 birdies were nice. I need to play the course again at some point and hopefully drive the ball with some semblance of decency on the front-9. Also, struggled with full wedges all day. Abysmal - thankfully putted semi-decently to make up for that. Fun birthday round. | ||
