Golf Group - 19th Green

I'm closing in on my ultimate golf goal, to shoot my age.  I'm 58 and today I shot 67.  The course was wet, it was cold (39), but I didn't care.  I shot 31 on the front, and HELD ON on the back for 36.  I have my first "league" outing tommorrow at Pine Knolls, I'm exited.

It's been 3 years since I was a USGA member, but I paid my dues today and will have an official CGA handicap within a few weeks.  I also joined Pine Knolls Golf Club.  I'm anxious to share my passion for golf with others in the Kernersville area.

  For the first time in my life (I'm 58 and have been playing since I was 21), I broke par for 18 holes.  I shot a 70 at Olde Home Place.  4 birdies, 2 bogies, and 12 pars.  I only hit 11 greens in regulation, but chipping and putting saved me.  Look me up if you want to play sometime.
