Shock1 - hcp: 9.8 - cost: 39
2/10 - The course has been over-watered and is soggy. Although it had rained some, with the course over-watered, the fairways were extremely soft with some standing water. Had played this course previously on a dry day and fairways and other areas were extremely soggy, so rain was not a major contributor today. Greens were very rough and aerated and were very bumpy. Tee boxes had rotting ares due to over-watering. The course is a nice layout but it seems poor maintenance of the course makes playing and hitting good shots from fairways are minimal. If you are a player who does not take divots and skim the ball off the surface, then this is your course. If not you better be prepared to take an extra club or two to get the proper distance. The course is so soft you will take a foot by 3 inch deep divots which will either twist the hosel or you will come up short. Second time playing this course with conditions not improved, so it will most likely be the last time playing this course unless something drastically changes. Not worth the time and frustration hitting balls literally out of grass covered mud holes. Any shot from fairway would cover you with wet grass and mud. Would not recommend this course unless you like soggy dog tracks. This course could be outstanding with proper maintenance and care. The course is worth the money but not with the condition it is in. Hard to give this course much more than a 1 star. I will give a course a second chance before rating but this course didn't improve and actually has gotten worse. So save your aggravation and play elsewhere.
