9/10 - I played this course about 15 times during Jan/Feb of '17. It was one of my favorites in Palm Springs. You can buy a discount card for $279 that gives you a couple free rounds and lowers your cost on this South course to $78.
The course is meticulously maintained, with many sand, tree, and water features. Fairway traps have hardpack natural desert sand, but greenside bunkers are looser beach sand. Fairways are overseededd with rye and beautiful. The main eyecandy features are the mountains, which dominate in every direction, and the spectacularly manicured palm trees. Speed on the greens vary, and tend to slowness, without much movement. The clubhouse is modern, with good drink and food, and a nice outdoor sitting area. Range balls are not included. I did not see a practice area that allowed chipping or sand practice.
