First let me start off by saying the course was in great shape, especially to be a muni. Pretty wide open course, so mishit drives weren't too bad. There is some water and sand, and little elevation changes. Back nine was more interesting then front. Greens were great, rolled true and pretty quick. So why the low rating? Well, the staff was not that friendly. There was only two of us so they put us with a guy and his wife, which I don't have a problem with, but they kept hounding us to play faster. The wife was a relative newby, but she didn't play too slow. They must of said something at least 4 or 5 times. And then had a marshall following us on the last two holes. We were staying with the group in front of us most of the time. They stack the tee times too close together and then try to get as many people through as possible. We ended up finishing in about 4 hrs 15 min. I'm not sure what they consider "on Pace", but I guess it's less than 4 hrs 15 min. I would say it would be a great place to play if you only had 3 golfers or 4 quick golfers.
